ACCA F4 Paper, Corporate and Business Law, to develop knowledge and skills in the understanding of the general legal framework, and of specific legal areas relating to business, recognizing the need to seek further specialist legal advice where necessary. The paper can be taken based on the country that is study and understand the corporate and business law of a specific country (from the list of countries for which the paper is offered).
The F7 paper, F8 paper, and P2 papers are built over the F4 paper.
ACCA F4 Syllabus:
ACCA F4 syllabus in accordance with the aim of the ACCA F4 paper, introduces the student to the legal framework of businesses in UK. The subject matter of the ACCA F4 paper deals extensively with the legal framework and is one of the foundational courses for Auditing.
ACCA F4 exam format:
The exam format of ACCA F4 paper takes into account the fact that the subject matter of the paper is the most fundamental knowledge expected of a professional accountant.
The ACCA F4 exam is assessed by a two-hour paper-based examination. The examination comprises of two sections.
- 25 x 2 mark objective test questions account for 50% marks.
- 20 x 1 mark objective questions account for 20% marks.
- 5 x 6 mark multi-task questions account for 30% marks.
All questions are compulsory.
