Wipro's Risk Management & Compliance practice is looking at hiring a SME to be based in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

To act as the domain focal point for key banking customers in the Australian region with responsibilities across domain competency development, solutions development, research, pre-sales, business development and collateral creation

Essential Competencies

• Significant expertise and professional experience across credit risk, market risk, op. risk, counterparty risk, liquidity risk with major banks or financial services organisations.
• Good practical implementation experience in key compliance regulations like Basel II, FCS, FATCA and preferably experience in product implementation. Excellent understanding of Basel II models, methodologies and implementation aspects is expected and mandatory
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in (a) Commercial banking processes and mechanisms with focus on credit initiation, credit evaluation and/or credit monitoring, (b) Investment banking functions with good knowledge of IR and FX markets and OTC derivatives (c) Asset Liability Management (ALM), financial markets trading and asset management
• Strong understanding and appreciation of the domestic Australian banking market and its business dynamics especially with regard to risk management and regulatory compliance.

Experience on working on APRA compliance related projects would be desirable.
