Have you ever wondered if you could add sections of data quickly?
In my excel I use addition a lot of times. I usually need to add certain sections of the column. For example in my model I usually need to add separate sections like current assets in my balance sheet. For this I can simply use the sum function and then select the entire rows. But I find this a little gruesome.
But how do I make it easy?
I use the autosum for selecting and adding sections. This function adds all data present in the same column on the section. I use
⌘ + ⇧ + T to do an autosum.
How is this useful?
I can easily sum up sections of data without having to select the cells.
