Excel Shortcut for Direct Precedent

Have you ever felt the need to go to the source of data?

In excel I use a lot of formulas, using data from various sheets. It becomes very lengthy to find out where the data’s source is.

For example in my accenture model, I have a large number of cross sheet formulas in my ratios sheet. Here if I want to find out the ratios source, I will have to first go to the formula, check the sheet and go there.

How do I do this in a simple manner? Use the direct precedent excel shortcut!

Instead of doing all the hard work, all I have to do is use a shortcut to go directly to the precedent source page! I use

Ctrl + [

Excel Direc Precedent

How Do I benefit?

I can go directly to the source of the data without having to look at the formula for source.

I am greatly impressed by the quality of your training. In fact it is the reason I am going to take the exam this time as I had previously decided not to take it because the quality of the training I had purchased was not what I had expected. All the best to you and everyone at Edupristine.
I am very pleased to have found these courses offered by a recognized, reputable training firm at a great value! Thank you!
