Ever needed to freeze panes while working with a large number of parameters?
Keeping constant view of certain headings or the upper section of your excel sheet will help you manage your data with less difficulty. However, Excel doesn’t have direct feature of keeping track of your navigation pane. An excel sheet with too much data needs scrolling. Scrolling down without a proper navigation guide will increase the odds of forgetfulness and to a large extent increases errors in your work, unless you are that eagle-eyed. Thankfully, Excel gives the option of freezing your rows and columns with the Freeze Pane option.
This option will let you freeze a particular part of the sheet, while setting you free to navigate through the rest.
For this I use the freeze pane option. This option lets me freeze a particular part of the sheet, while I am free to navigate through the rest.
The Shortcut for Freezing Pane is:Alt + W + F + F
How is this useful?
You can keep a certain rows and columns visible while the rest of the worksheet scrolls. This will save you the time on moving up-and-down on your excel sheet.
