Suppose that a quiz consists of 10 true-false questions. A student has not studied for the exam and just randomly guesses the ans. What is the probability that the student will get atleast 3 questions correct?

(a) 54.7%
(b) 33.66%
(c) 78.62%
(d) 94.53%

Prob(atleast 3 correct)=1-prob(0,1,2 correct)
=1-p(x=0)-p(x=1)-p(x=2) where x is a binomially distributed variable with p=0.5

p=0.5
q=0.5
p(x>3) = 1-( p(x=0) + p(x=1) + p ( x=2 )
1 - 0.054 = o.9453 = 94.53 %

ANS is D 94.53%
