P Value

Postby nidhi.arora0806 » Thu Mar 24, 2016 11:54 am

Some Statistical packages give p value for regression even without giving any significance level. How is this possible? How can we judge on the basis of p value without any given significance level?

Significance level depends on confidence level which in turn depends on analyst. Analyst can decide on confidence level based on industry and company specific. Then, s/he can compare p-value and significance level to decide further.
