Please any one tell me if in Hypothesis value of calculated t stat is equal to the t critical value then whether the null hypothesis should be rejected of fail to reject. and also tell me if sample size n=30 then Which distribution should be used for hypothesis testing Z or t??

if n=30 and if you have population variance then go for Z test else go for t test.

In case of unknown variance and n=30 Z test can also be used but T test is more conservative.

For rejecting null t calc should be > t critical.
