Hedge fund are largely unregulated and are not required to report their performance.
Hedge funds that have reported in past byt have recently had poor returnns may stop performing their performance
this result in upward bias i index return which hedge funds appears to b better investment than they are
Question
What does this means upward bias in index return
Why they are appear to b better investment than hey are???

Upward bias means they can't show their bad performance they can only show good performance.
They appear to be better investment because this will make a market for them.
