Doubt Clearing CFA L1 Ethics

Postby sujithmeno » Sun Jun 24, 2012 8:04 pm

The second question on the Quiz 1 ethics related to a candidate telling his friend generally about the CFA exam and emphasis in a particular year doesn't seem like a violation as per standard 7A.

Hi Sujit

The Standard VII does not stop anyone to express opinions about the CFA institute or CFA program and Members are free to agree or disagree with the CFA institute policies or procedures. But Discussing the exam with emphasis on a particular year is a violation.
