ACCA awards Simpson Scholarship to talented ACCA students. This scholarship is given to those students who prove themselves to be of sufficient merit and distinction in ACCA exams.
The Simpson Scholarship funds the ACCA examination and registration fees of five students for a period of five years or until they become ACCA members – whichever happens first.
To become eligible for the Simpson Scholarship, applicants must meet minimum qualification criteria and submit a 1,000 word essay.
The minimum qualification following criteria for the Simpson Scholarship:
Registered as an ACCA student
Paid your fees for the year ahead
No other fees outstanding
Completed and achieved an average of 80% or more in the Knowledge module (Papers F1–F3) of the Fundamentals level of the ACCA Qualification - in first attempt
If you have exemptions from the Knowledge module (Papers F1–F3) of the Fundamentals level, then you must have achieved 66% or more in at least two ACCA Qualification papers in the Fundamentals Skills module - in first attempt.
Once you satisfy all the requirements, you have to write a 1000 word essay on the topic- 'How the award of a Scholarship will help me to realize my full potential'.
Your completed application accompanied by a Scholarship submission form including two references must be submitted – preferably by email – to: email@example.com.
Once your application is received and evaluated for minimum requirements, the judging process starts. The timeline for the award of scholarship is given below.

|3 June||20 finalists selected for judging panel|
|20 June||Five Scholarship winners selected by judging panel|
|1 July||Scholarship winners announced|
ACCA notifies the 20 finalists whose application will be reviewed by the judging panel. ACCA notifies the five Scholarship winners via email, that their application has been successful.
The Simpson Scholarship includes:
annual affiliate subscription fees
membership admission fee
