International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a single set of accounting standards, developed and maintained by the IASB (International Accounting Standards Board)


IFRS 9 is an International Financial Reporting Statements (IFRS) made public by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). It addresses the accounting for Financial Instruments. It is made up of three main topics: Classification and Measurement of financial statements, Impairment of Financial Assets and Hedge Accounting. Eventually it will replace the earlier IFRS on Financial Instruments, IAS 39, when it becomes fully effective in 2018
