Excel Shortcut for Formula Display

Have you ever wanted to differentiate between dependent and independent cells in one go?

On my excel sheet I sometimes need to change data values and see the changes on the sheet. It makes no sense to change dependent cell values as they will change automatically! For this I should know which cells are formula based and which are not.

For example on my road model, I sometimes have to audit the model. For this I will change the values of independent cells. So if I have to keep looking separately for the independent cells I will lose a lot of time.

How do I differentiate the cells quickly?

Simple! I use the display of formula shortcut to differentiate the cells. The shortcut shows me the formula used in dependent cells. So I can see the independent cells as data and dependent cells as formulas!

⌃ + ` is the shortcut to display all formulas on sheet.

How is this useful to me?

I can easily differentiate between cells during an audit. It saves me a lot of effort, that is otherwise spent in differentiating the cells.

I am greatly impressed by the quality of your training. In fact it is the reason I am going to take the exam this time as I had previously decided not to take it because the quality of the training I had purchased was not what I had expected. All the best to you and everyone at Edupristine.
I am very pleased to have found these courses offered by a recognized, reputable training firm at a great value! Thank you!
