To make matters simple for you, we have noted down the most basic difference underlying various Risk Management Certifications. Operational Risk Manager (ORM) analyzes situations that include many quality control roles in manufacturing, transportation, shipping, food processing, mining, oil and gas, and others. The Financial Risk Manager (FRM) will find abundant opportunties in financial roles. The Professional Risk Manager (PRM) is prepared to apply risk analysis to both financial and operational risk situations. Thereby, the PRM can be considered all encompassing. So if your interest lies in being the overall risk manager and not limiting your field to either finance or operations, then PRM is meant for you.
You can have Lucrative career options in Risk Management, Trading, Structuring, Modeling, etc. PRM holders have positions such as Chief Risk Officer, Senior Risk Analyst, Head of Operational Risk, and Director, Investment Risk Management, to name a few.
