Emergence of the content marketing is seen as a response to the loss in response from customers and users from other types of marketing efforts. What is Content Marketing:

The purpose of Content Marketing is to attract and retain customers by consistently creating and curating relevant and valuable content with the intention of changing or enhancing consumer behavior. It is an ongoing process and focuses on owning media, not renting it.

Article Marketing:

Article Marketing is perhaps a very old type of marketing. Professionals have been using it since the availability of mass print media. Businesses provide newspapers with contemporary relevance such as article on tax audits during tax season and the news paper in return would provide the business name and contact information.

It’s more or less the same in internet article marketing where the idea is to promote authors who have expertise in their market or product or services online through online article directories. Just like the popularity of a news paper has an impact on the reach to audience. The popularity of the article directory helps the authors gain better page rank and this page authority which would help them in Search Engine Optimization.

Video Marketing:

As said before the content can be of any format or can be used across channels for various benefits. So you can create video content and then use it for your marketing purposes either by using channels like Youtube or you can use social media to share your videos and engage the audience there.

The current trend in industry appears to be “Article Video Marketing”, which is basically converting a article into a Presentation and then using animations to create a video out of it, product demos, white papers, Product specifications etc. The hope behind the start of this type of Video marketing is to make boring content more interesting and engaging to the user while building a brand.
