Ms. Mamta Verma, Founder & Chief Investment Officer
Ms. Verma earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University in 1998 and her Masters in finance from The Department of Financial Studies, Delhi University in 2001.
Most recently, between 2006 and 2010, Ms. Verma was employed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management India. During her tenure at Goldman Sachs, Ms. Verma was responsible for stock selection, portfolio construction and performance for companies in the consumer discretionary, consumer staples, capital goods and infrastructure sectors. She was involved in a senior capacity in the deployment of over $500 million in Indian equities.
Prior to Goldman Sachs, between 2004 and 2006, Ms. Verma worked at Fidelity International in Mumbai. During her tenure, Ms. Verma was responsible for the identification, evaluation, investing and monitoring of investments in the consumer discretionary, consumer staples, commodities and capital goods sectors. She was involved in a senior capacity in the deployment of over $3 billion across different sectors in Indian equities.
Ms. Verma began her career in 2001 at ICRA (An associate of Moody’s Investors Service) in New Delhi, where she worked as a Senior Analyst in the Credit Rating division.
