    FRM® Course Eligibility

    There are no minimum eligibility criteria to appear for the FRM® Course exam. Even an undergraduate (Final Year of Graduation) is eligible for the FRM® Part 1 exam.

    But there are certain eligibility criteria to obtain the certificate. To be certified as a Financial Risk Manager®, a candidate should have:

    • Cleared both, Part I and Part II exam of the FRM® course
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
    • Active fellow membership in GARP®

    FRM® Course Duration

    Depending on the candidate’s dedication and focus, it takes a minimum of 1 year to complete both the exams of the FRM® course.

    A candidate has five years to submit his/her work experience after passing the FRM® Exam Part II. If candidates do not complete this step within this timeframe, the candidate will be required to re-enroll in the program, pay all applicable fees, and retake the FRM® Exam Part I and the FRM® Exam Part II.
